boost seem low?

n54 with exhaust, intake, down pipes and JB4 on map 5. peak boost is 12 pounds.

Yeah sounds a bit low...Do you have logs? Otherwise we're just throwing shit and trying to see what sticks...

Here are a few pulls I logged. I think 3 were freeway and one was stop light to 3rd gear.

This log looks pretty good. Boost target is 12psi and that's what you're getting

This log is only showing a target of 8psi. Looks like this pull was run using map 4 according to the log. Either way, the controller is holding right at the 8 psi target perfectly.

This one is a little weird...You start out in 2nd gear, using map 5 and everything looks pretty good. 12psi target and actual boost pressure. Shift into 3rd and things are still looking good. Then, in the middle of 3rd gear, it switches to map 4 and a boost target of 8psi and stays there for the rest of the pull. Some quick googling tells me that the JB4 will switch to map 4 (stock boost) when it trips a safety. Not sure what was tripped on that pull or the previous one, but it wasn't happy about something. Did you do all these pulls back-to-back? Maybe oil temp got high enough to trip the safety?

Thats super interesting. Think the first one was logged a few days prior, other three same day but not all back to back.

How does it come to the target of 12? Isn't that low? I used to have a 335 with same mods but a Cobb way back in the day and I feel like I was hitting 16 plus.

So I've got figure out whats triggering the JB4 to go to stock boost... Ok, well this is super helpful. Thank you.
