Just now,
Removed the neg battery cable and hooked up a charger.
Closed the trunk, charger inside.

Oh you gotta be shitting me. LOL
Can't get in the trunk now.
Dumbass!

Man, that sucks, Iminhell!

Can you hook up a battery to the charge points under the hood to get the trunk open? Don't know if that would work, but it might. I always click the trunk lock closed when I'm messing around in the trunk so that it won't close and lock.

Good luck!

I was this close to finally buying some new summer rimz, but backed out in the last sec cos I dunno how long we're gonna keep the car for. Might be time to sell it next year.

So what are you thinking of replacing it with? Or are you just moving to something different?

safe to say this is the first cashmere silver 1m mirrors

I didn't go with the carbon fiber caps bc my old one was the carbon caps

Most importantly my paint guy was able to match the paint!

Sadly I caught the flu so I wasn't able to install it

Give it time to upload.

We went out and played on the lake again.
Friday I drained the diff and replaced with OE BMW fluid. That did the trick. Car is 100% throttle steer now and I don't have to drag the brakes.
It's unfortunate that I'm the driver though. I'll get better in time. This is just for fun and learning.

And now after having the correct fluid in the mfactory diff, it is worth every dollar. I'm very happy with it.

340i as a replacement for the E91, and 340i & 135i will not make any sense whatsoever so maybe something like an i3 or another shopping cart instead of the 1er. We'll see. nothing is certain these days (last time we were set on a diesel 1er hatch and ended up with a 135, hah).

So far no rubbing during street driving with stock suspension, we'll see what happens at AutoX this weekend. I will say that these things grip like crazy! 1st gear launch barely spins the tires and it's hooked up great from there. On the other hand, I would not recommend these for a daily driver, they sound like a small prop plane is chasing you around everywhere you drive lol!

Pics! (yes, car is filthy since it's been rainy/icy here the past couple weeks...)
What size tires?

Wow I forgot the most important piece of information

They're 255/40R17 square. Ran an autocross this weekend and even though it was a little wet they gripped like hell! With stock tires I had been about 0.5-1.0 seconds off the pace of the F-Street leaders, but this time I won the class by 1.5 sec! The car felt great and I know it has even more to give as I learn how to drive it better with the additional grip and better balance

Wow! That's a significant improvement! Tires do a world of good, so does driving skill.

Haven't done much more to mine, other than finding it a brother..

I am welcoming another 1 series home to join my 2011 N55 135i and my 2017 M2..

My girl totaled her Mazda a couple weeks ago and we were able to find this car.

2013 135i in Carbonschwarz with black interior. It's a 2 owner car, bought at Braman BMW in Miami and serviced by both owners there. It has 26k miles and it's DCT.

Car had a 1M badge on the back which I removed and now I need to relocate the 135i badge to the original position.

The car cane with an Eisenmann quad exhaust setup and a 3D Design Carbon diffuser to match the quad setup. Other than that stock.

Already ordered black grill, Carbon M4 style spoiler and a Kerscher Splitter so slowly this will be a twin of my 135i.

Just got my 128i back from a local indy where they replaced the oil pan gasket and installed headers. I also installed a BPC tune after bringing the car home. The car pulls harder and sounds much gnarlier. It is not really much louder but the sound is much deeper and more aggressive. Right around 2500RPM it sounds mean. I wouldn't mind just a little more volume, so maybe next step is a 135i muffler...

My car is an N51 so already had the 3IM!

Just strikes me as odd that it has the 1M look duals and nothing else exterior. Not even Black kidneys.

Looks great though!

Also had the 1M badge in the rear but I removed as soon as it got home.

Came with an Eisenmann quad exhaust and a 3D Design Carbon quad diffuser.

So it seems previous owner wanted the rear end look of a 1M.

Black grill is already on it and a couple more carbon pieces are rolling in.

You should make you new 1er look like your other one so you'll have twins. lol

It's in process already! It's actually my girls car and she already ordered the black grill and the Kerscher Splitter. Carbon spoiler arrived today but it's an M4 style. I like it so I might order one for mine! Eventually it will end up similar to mine!

Picked up a new shifter support arm from BMW Fairfax, an overall pleasant experience, except for having to drive up there.

Finished rebuilding my shifter, installing E46 M3 tranny mounts, and installing a BMW Perf. SSK lever. I've fallen in love with the car all over again! The shift action is so crisp, has absolutely zero play in it, and it just snaps into gears (which are always in the right place now).

Got hit in the rear right corner of the car. A learning driver was pulling in behind me as I was slowing down for a stupid Nissan Rogue to turn in to a shell gas station and didn’t account for my deceleration, and ended up scraping up my rear bumper. Luckily her car had a low nose, otherwise I’d be in for a new fender; and that she didn’t pull out any earlier, otherwise I’d have a beat-up rim and possible suspension damage.

First day driving after my shifter rebuild, too!
