i'm assuming its 245/40-17 R6 tires? if so, i bet you can get all 4 wheels in the back seat. I got 3 275/35-18 in the back seat (up) and there's still alot of room (not enough for another 275 though)

I'm considering getting a set of ARC-8's for the 1M so I'm especially glad you are bringing them!

255/35-18 front, 275/35-18 rear lying flat on back seat cushion (with seat back up). Tight fit, but works fine.

Thanks for bumping the thread. Couldn't find it last night.

I've already met wolfpack, mdorphn and 21450 (Art) And of course Tc Kline has a white 1M as well. We all met as we gathered at the track for registration.
Art's VO car stands out. Still no word from my dealer. :-(.

As Always, Barber is a challenging course.
The rain has held off and the track feels fast.
Unfortunately an e36 and an e46m3 have already had contact with walls. One in the club race school (doh!) and another in the DE. :-(.

Club races begin tomorrow. No pics from me as I am using my phone, sorry. I will upload mine next week.

There was a second 1M in VO Today, along with several other AW cars. It's a good thing Mdorphn hD stripes on his to set it apart from the 4-6 other AW 1Ms. And none in black thus far.

As far as my own car, it seems to have been sitting still for about 8 days, and my CA advised it would be at the dealer " early this week", was apparently way wrong or made an error as I talked to his manager yesterday and today and my car was not even released to the carrier per the manager. ???WTF???

Possible update tomorrow, but it looks like I am on foot all weekend.

As I pulled up to the tower today I heard someone say, "there's a 1M!" I turned and the other guy said, "once you've seen one you've seen them all." Apparently, AW is the common color here at the track. I guess I need some racing stripes or a giant wing. I took a few pics of the TC Kline 1M as it looked great with the flag marks all over the front end.

It was great to meet and hang out with MDORPHN and his M1!

If you would keep your dinner plans, you would have met me Thursday night at Logan's. ;-).

My car finally made it to my dealer, so I hopped a greyhound bus at 3am last night, and will be picking my car up in the next two hours and driving back so I can run the car on track on Sunday. Ofest needs a black 1M :-).

I saw Dan's car in the paddock Friday afternoon and when I got back from my final run on course, it was gone again. Sorry I missed the chance to meet you. I did catch Neil in the hotel lot as he was packing up to leave and said hello. I also met another 1M owner (picking up next week) at the concour on tuesday. I think there were 7 1M's there with two VO and the rest white.

I wish I could have stuck around to see Mark come back with his 1M, but we are now in Memphis and planning some addition fun on the way home.

For those that did not make the trek, you missed a really good event.

Art let me drive his car on wednesday so I could get a bit of a taste and I told him I think it made the waiting game worse. Thanks Art !!!
I should be getting mine in the next week and a half if all goes well.

Hey guys, I was there on Friday afternoon and today (Saturday).Took pics of the Autocross on Friday afternoon and some racing mostly the B group on Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon. Here is a taster. If you were there and want to see more, pm me with a description of your car (I am assuming there are members other than 1M owners that are reading this section) and I will email jpegs or upload to a secure host. I dont want to put too many pics 'out there' as some people are sensitive to personal info like licence plates being on the net.

ps. This was just a spectator trip for me, flew down and had some friends ferry me around to Barber. I cant wait to get behind the wheel of my car tomorrow when I get home, and start signing up for autocross events etc :-)
