Sorry to go off topic, but congrats on being a mod, Dackel.

To OP, unique color. I have never seen it on a 1 in real life.

As you have been to the production line, any knowledge of whether all US Spec 2012's 135i's have sport seats? I know one of the standard features on my 2012 vs my 2011 was full power seats, but I haven't seen any sales literature about sport seats on all 135's.
I have a 2012 US Spec 135 without the sport seats (I have power std seats) ...my car was ordered in June and built in August before the Sept configurator changes. This may have become standard for 135's as of Sept builds...

Earlier statements were about the coupe, not the convertible, which retains different options than the coupe.

Congrats on the new car. That color is amazing by the way. Any more pics (high resolution)?

And I hope you'll remove that bonnet pronto. Looks pretty Autozone.

I'm not sure what to do with the hood yet. I'm sure the previous owner probably spent a lot of money on the carbon fiber hood. I can't tell who made it.

I thought about having it painted to match the car. Thoughts? I do not have the original hood.

Nice wheels and too bad he did not leave them on the car. I would recommend keeping the 17" stock wheels for Winter. Did you confirm yet if they are Winter tires ? Now, the CF hood makes sense

I'm pretty sure they are all weather tires, I need to double check though. Thankfully the winter is rather mild here in Washington State, at least in the area I'd be driving in. I walk to work so unless it's an emergency of some sort I can avoid driving if we have bad weather. I'll still keep the 17's on for a winter setup just in case.

I would sell the CF bonnet on Craigslist and with that money buy an OEM bonnet and have it painted to match.

Such a classy vehicle deserves only the finest in materials.
