N55 JB3 feedback
Anyone on the forum running a burger tuning piggy back on a N55? Would love to look at one, ride along to see if it's worth the hassle. Looks like I'm keeping my car a little longer than I planned, so I'm looking for some tasteful mods to keep it interesting....

Did you end up getting the JB N55 tune? I just bought a car which supposedly has it and I'm trying to verify that's the case. I've tried checking to see if there are any sensors piggybacked but I can't exactly tell which ones I should be looking at.

Here's the installation instructions for the N55 JB3. This should help you find the sensors in question and figure out if you've got one or not.

I'm dropping in a JB4, BMW charge pipe and AFE ProDry stock replacement filter next weekend. I've got a 2011 135i DCT.
Happy for anyone to have a look or go for a spin once i'm done |

Hi tkruger206. Are you doing the JB4 install yourself? I supposedly have the basic version and I want to upgrade to 4 but I need to verify I even have the basic version first. I 'think' i have some stuff currently piggybacked but it's hard for me to tell. I need to tear into it some more and see if I can find the jb connector I guess.

How hard was it to get to the ECU box? I still need to dive in there and verify I have JB Stage 1 installed so I can order Stage 2. |

Once that stuffs off then you can get right into the ECU box. I need to go back into mine to run the USB cable for updates to the JB4. Happy to help you or run through it with you some weekend. -T |
