track/daily wheels on! Apex + Hankook RS3 245/265
I finally got these mounted and adjusted the ride height/camber so I'm not scraping the tires! Here a few pics from a meet this past weekend, I'll go snap some more in a bit.

Any more info on suspension/camber for fitting 245s in front?

I have kw v1's and -1.5 front camber as well as rolled fenders. To get the extra camber in the front I had a race shop drill out my upper shock mounts about 5-6mm and had it re-aligned. for ride height I just started with it slammed and gradually raised it until i didn't get rubbing. I still get a slight rub if I load the suspension pretty hard but it's not bad. Also to note, my front tires are 245/40 and NOT 245/35 so if you get tires that offer that size you will be better off.

looking good! I actually like the look of the APEX wheels...they have a very functional look to them, so when people see them they know you mean business! Your 2 sets of DPE's were nice as well especially those SP10's

Thanks, thanks, thanks, and thanks!
thanks, I like the way they look too, just not as much as either set of DPE's. I've also grown fond of the sticky tires...guess I'm just going to be replacing my daily tires more frequently!

I like the uniqueness. I also plan on getting those wheels in the matte black to go on my black car I want the subtlety, but the ability to take big rubber in the arches.
how are you finding the traction with the 265s? |

these tires are phenomenal for street tires. the grip is great and the 245/265 further reduced understeer and oversteer takes more throttle than before. basically finding the traction limit throwing it into turns is well beyond my driving ability.

But i can't wait to get a light set of wheels on and some real tires. I suspect it transforms the car. |
