What is this little black box? (Undercarriage area)

Hi all,

I have a quick question.

What would be the little black box with two thick red wires stemming from?

It is located under passenger side rear. It looks like it is coming down from battery compartment area and continues on all the way to front of the car?



Any ideas would be much appreciated!
