Yippee - Car is in! I ordered in early August, Car was delivered to dealer yesterday, and they are prepping today. Scheduled to pick it up tomorrow PM.

330i, TiSI, ZPP, ZSP, ZCP, Idrive, Satellite, Manual

Question - do I have to order 6 disc changer separate? What have others done? With Satellite and my Ipod, there's a good chance I'll need the 6 disc changer. The single disk player in dash might be enough?

Recieved my car 3 weeks ago. (USA)

Jet Black 325i Automatic, Sport, heated seats, and Sat Radio Prep.
$35K.

Good points: Handling, Transmission, gas consumption, power, and sound system. :rocks:

Bad points: Seat Belt makes clicky noise from the B-Pillar and is driving me NUTS!
Will be bringing it to the dealer tomorrow.
Run Flat tires are horrible. Vibration if you do under 65mph. Spedo is 3miles too fast. Rattling noise coming from the dash.

ANYONE EXPERINCING THE SAME ISSUES???? It only has 400 miles on it!

I should have waited another month so I can get the "Comfort Access" option.
Sat. Radio prep, $75, what a joke.

Other than that, the car is great.

Placed my order back in June for end of September delivery.
It is at the dealer now but I am waiting for the end of the month as scheduled.

Its a company car. My E46 was at the end of its lease and has just gone back. That was a lovely motor. 318i SE (whats that? I hear the Americans say) Solid black, with Blackberry interior, Series 1 M-body kit and M-V-Spoke alloys. The engine had done 72k and was as good as the day I got it.

I am hoping my new car will be great.
I am still not sure about the looks, that long nose and face...
How do you replace quite possibly the worlds most beautiful saloon car of recent times.

The most popular model here seems to be the 320d SE (Who?)
but I will not succumb to the diesel conspiracy.

September 30th will see the delivery of my
E90, Black Sapphire metallic. Grey interior (would have had the same again had it been available), 18" 162 alloys, Sports seats, Sports steering wheel and Ali interior trim.

I have not yet seen this combination on the site.
Would anyone like to see pictures when it arrives.

In the mean time checkout the much missed E46.

After months of visiting this site every day, gobbling up the great stories, rumors and obscure information everyone has posted, I have finally placed my order. 330i, TiAg, black 'ette, aluminum trim, auto, heated seats, comfort access. It is scheduled for production in week 39.

I can't tell you how helpful everyone on this site has been. I hope you all can bear with me while I impatiently wait for the big arrival!

330xi has completed production and has been released to carrier and currently is awaiting transport to port of exit. Munich plant - via Train to ship to East Coast to Thompson BMW Doylestown. I hope to take delievery Mid Oct. Once production started , it only took 4 days to completion - I followed progress by using 1-800-831-1117 number.
The owners circle web site still lists scheduled for production-and the only thing listed is the model and exterior color and interior color. Next comes the wait for delivery. The deposit for this car was place 4-29-2005. Production week 37 sept 11-17. Car finished on 9-15.
I will post photos after delivery.

You must have been one of the 1st ones to place a deposit on an AWD.

just dropped a deposit for a body color code 668 (pure black) and black interior brushed aluminium , 330i Hong Kong standard specification, plus adaptive steering and adaptive headlights. Production is yet to be confirmed (Nov/Dec); delivery will be Jan/Feb 2006.

The 1-800 lady keeps telling me "The vehicle is schedualed for production....". WHEN!!! Also how do I find my production week?

New member to this board, but viewed it A LOT when trying to determine options and colors for my new car. Just ordered on 9/16, with an ETA of 6-8 weeks, which is hopefully accurate. Crazy excited but the wait is going to be a killer! Details of the new car are in my signature.

Check with your dealer for most updated info on Prod. status, but if you're planning to change the specs do it ASAP. Lot of people have remarked hearing "scheduled for production with no date yet", but the next thing they knew "the car was already in production."

Placed my FIRST order for a White 325, Grey, Alum, PP, SP, Cold, CA on 9.10, then I changed order to 330 on 9.19. Unsure of delivery date, or build date-week 43? I was told that there was a delay on all cars with Aluminum trim or Comfort access, so I made the decision to stick with it, as these are two items that I wanted. I intend to do pickup at the Spartanburg plant, if I can wait. Car is a surprise birthday gift to my wife, problem is Bday is Oct 19th…I need to stall…

Ordered 330xi with everything but Active stering and PDC on Sept 1st. It is in the paint shop as of today. Will be finished on the 23rd.

Chrissal1-yes the dealer said it was a 2 week delay becasue of a supplier issue on the Aluminum trim and the Comfort access. I still do not have a build date yet......

Congrats! I took delivery on mine the day before you placed your order. The wait was a bitch but worth it, of course. This forum helped me through it.
