Can someone advise some more technical explanation of how this would function with dcs? So I've read a fair but about what the helical lsd does (see links below) and it all sounds good but how does the dcs function with it as it was not designed to be run with an lsd?

The 2 main car control systems in place, DTC (traction control) and DSC (stability control) are not affected in any form of negative way.
The LSD greatly reduces the chance of the wheel with the least traction spinning making the threshold before wheelspin occurs a lot higher. The result is that the traction control intervenes a lot less because the car keeps better traction. The helical or 'torsen' LSD is not a locking or locked diff so it still allows the DSC to brake individual wheels as it sees fit in the case of a spin. In summary, the LSD increases traction, making DTC not need to come in as much (it only comes in when it detects wheelspin) and it still allows the DSC to function perfectly. |

Excellent. We have our five (maybe a 6th). I'll PM and/or email you all the contact details for the MFactory Australia rep who will organise the payments, shipping etc.

Are you sure they will allow more than 5. In the US GBs they only allowed multiples of 5.

I told them we have 5-7. I'll post up what they say. I can't see why they'd turn down more sales. This is completely different to the US GB. The US GB needs 5 of one type but ours allows a mix and match of any BMW LSDs.
