WTB: Winter setup for 135i in PA
Hey guys, looking for a set of winter wheels and tires for my wife's 135i. I'd prefer 17's with tpms installed, but willing to entertain any reasonable offers. Located near Philly if there's any local guys, otherwise I guess we'll have to deal with shipping. Let me know what you got. |

Doylestown
Hi, If you are looking for new tires I would suggest tirerack.com, there is a shop in Doylestown called Main Street tire and auto, you can direct ship to them, they will mount, balance, align, etc and they will store your regular tires until you switch them back. I think its reasonable, at least compared to Thompson it is........
This is what i do. I live in Bucks County too. |

Thanks Daisy. I'll keep that in mind as I'm now debating how I'm gonna handle the snow tires this time around.
And don't even get me started on Thompson. They damaged my Z4 during two separate scheduled visits. The second one requiring them to paint part of the car...twice! There's not much that could make me deal with them again. |

If you are still looking for winter wheels/tires/TPMS, I have a set of 17" based on TireRack's recommendation for a 135i. They are in excellent condition with lots of tread left.

Tires are Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D 205/50R17
Wheels are Sport Edition A7 17x7.5. I still have the center caps but the BMW cap fits as well so I've used the BMW ones instead. Can't recall the specs on the TPMS, but it syncs up with my 135i. Same setup on TireRack currently runs $1,168 plus shipping. I'm looking for $800 plus shipping (based on other sets I've ordered it would probably run a bit over $100). Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks, Matthew |

Good luck finding winter tires/wheels locally. I can store wheels/tires at my house, but the place that Daisy mentioned sounds great. |
