Bad news with my depo's, my left one(passenger side) is letting water in and has condensation in it, it's not a lot but it's annoying and could be a problem if it keeps building up. looking to find somebody local to have them resealed.

What's the difference? Better corner bulb insulation? I know that the turn bulb area didn't have a good solution and would let in water.

I'm curious if the LED's are now lit up differently or still with 4 corner LED's in each ring. I'm betting they probably just bought a bunch of the dual fire SMD's that we bought to put it and are now selling it with them pre installed.

Just got an email back from them. After reading some reviews I can't recommend this company. Stay clear as their "shoddy remanufacturing process" to the DEPOs is highly unreliable.

just kidding, every time i get my car washed a power washer nozzle that cleans the wheels sprays onto the wheel well liner onto the back of the headlight at the corner bulb area and it gets in through there. Has happened a couple times now. Sucks but it goes away with enough driving. Guess i'll have to stick to washing my car myself now.

Do some research on the Umnitzas first, particularly in the E90 forums. They have had numerous problems with the headlights (bad projectors, leaky headlights, bad electronics, etc.)

I remember reading about a few reviews from them now that I think about it. Looking back they have gotten some really bad rep.

I guess my question is.. do they use DEPO for all their lights?

They do use Depos as the basis for their conversions. The Depos aren't the problem, it's shoddy work on their part and unreliable (i.e., cheap) parts that are used that cause problems...from what I've read.

Just read all the shoddy "remanufacture" process... I guess the DIY DEPO upgrade is the best way to go! I believe 631 went this route and had success.

yup, my headlights have been great minus the water incident and as i posted above i found out why that's been happening. I found out that the angel eyes can be set to DRL via coding, in theory at least. I'm still trying to find somebody local that can try it out on my car.

Yah that is tough. I would say go with the DEPO headlights. Have LUIS at OSS Design take them and work his magic (Install his custom LED rings) and ship them to you. It's a tad bit more expensive, but you would be one of the few standouts

He can work on depo housings too? I have my old depo halogen housings and they would be perfect for some kind of project like that. maybe i can do that later down the road. What would that cost around?

Great Idea,

very hard to separate the OEM lenses. Be prepared to break them.

You bought two pairs of them?

He takes normal E82 DEPO's opens them up, installs the V2 or V4 rings and can paint the inside whatever color you like, then reseal.
