BMW Championship Golf

This weekend I had the wonderful experience of being a VIP at the BMW Championship Golf Tournament. It was awesome! I got a phone call about a week and a half back and a nice fellow named Josh asked me if I would like to go the the BMW sponsored Golf Championship at the Cherry Hills Country Club. I said, "is that a big one?" He said, "yes it is." So I said I would go! He told me that they were VIP tickets and I asked "how much do they cost?" He said, "they're free." I said, "how did I get so lucky?" He said "you own a BMW, don't you?" I said, yes I do! Some tickets arrived by Fed Ex of course and I cleaned up my baby M and drove it down on Sunday. There were lots of BMW's in an owners only parking lot and we took an i3 shuttle to the venue. Oggled the i8 and the M4's and walked over the the BMW VIP Lounge at the 18th hole. It was a catered affair with drinks and amazing food all gratis! I had to pinch myself a couple times. Every so often I get something to remind me of how great the BMW brand is. A print, a pen and now an awesome day at the BMW championship! Oh and every day I drive my car I'm reminded as well!

I wish I had taken pictures of the BMW owner's lot when I was there. Easily 500 BMW's parked in one location. I didn't see a 1M however.

I was there, I was about the last one to leave. There were 5 cars in the big field. The lot was pretty awesome though!

I'd bet if there was one where you live, you would get invited. I only regret that I didn't notice Ludwig Willisch was sitting a couple people down. I would have told him how much I love my 1M!
