Headlight projector grey trim ring loose
So after much test driving and deliberation and mulling over many cars, and then a few minutes behind the wheel of a 135 'vert i immediattely bought the 135.
an 08 with only 27k, it has one weido problem that has just cropped up (or i didnt notice when i bought (stupid me then) I have search the forums (and learned alot.. you guys are awesome) but i havent seen this particular thing in my forum wanderings. It looks like the dark trim ring around the projector has popped loose, everything still works great... the ring is just rattling around there a bit but the lights still level and everything. I worry about it getting in the way of the lights movement though (and it looks weird) so Is there any easy way to fix this? and can i turn off the auto leveling / steering of the headghts so i dont break a motor before this is fixed? ..... (by me or others, I am very mechanically handy, but also willing to have others do the work when time or inclination suits) thanks ahead of time for the help, I am now off to read the thousands of posts on Run Flats |

Why is the projector aimed so far down and to the right?

Buddy thats going to be a tough one to fix. Even after you remove the headlight, its very difficult to access anything in the front of the headlight.
You might need to find a pro that can remove the lens, fix the little ring and then reseal the headlight. |
