The car is not an M-Sport (no sills/steering wheel) but it does have the sport seats making it seem like the sport package. But the sport package should be shadowline trim and not chrome... weird.

I'm a little confused - The pricing detail is $39,925 for the 135i coupe? Is this including all the options shown or base price? Either way it seems off: If it's base price it's over $3K more than the 2011 and I can't see that happening given the slight changes - If it includes the options it's seems low since it's showing DCT, Nav, M-Sport(Maybe?) and HK stereo.

Am I missing something?

pretty sure thats base pricing now. maybe more standard options now so they are "legitimized" in upping the price?

Headlights Out - Taillights In

I am totally out on the new headlight design... Very ugly. Now, the new taillight design is a must have retrofit upgrade for me.

I am also out on the white trim... U-G-L-Y.

And has no sport steering wheel (the M perforated one...) Unless that's now only part of M-Sport Pkg.

I'll be honest, I am extremely happy with the fact that i was able to grab a 2011. The only 2 things that I can honestly say that i like on the 2012 are the tail lights and the ash tray since i can from an e90 which had one. Everything else is just either too much or too ugly.

As far the the white interior goes, i love white anything so I would consider it if i was to order it ever though most would disagree.

I love the new lights..
Hate those rims..
Don't care about white interior since I would never get it..
Don't care about power seats or the "M-Aerodynamics Package"
Don't want Vermillion Red or the brown color..

Overall: I'm EXTREMELY dissapointed I waited for the 2012 MY, But I still love the car- had I foreseen these changes I don't care about with a 3000$ increase (Which i DO care about!) I would have placed my order in December..

I'm sure I'll be happy once I get it, but overall not impressed with BMW's choices for this "entry level BMW" !!

I bet the price increase turns out to be more than $3000. On the 2011 leather was no charge, as part of the value package. That means the premium package will go up around $500 to $700. I have not seen the 2012 price list, so I don't know exactly what the numbers will be. As for the sport seats without the rest of the sport package, that is another open item. It could simply be what BMW was able to put together for the show.

Those rear lights look great when photographed closeup with an slr camera, too bad they look just light every other car's rear light out on the road. I like the headlights, but I want to see the eyebrows turned on.

Overall, I still prefer SGM paint, fold-down nav screen, sleek mirrors, and twin turbos.

Was on the fence

I was on the fence about ordering MY2011 or waiting for LCI. I placed order on 18-Dec-10 for MY2011 as I needed the delivery to dove-tail with my current 535xi lease expiration. The car completed Production on Friday and is now awaiting transport. Feeling good about my decision at this point.

I don't recall a recent LCI that I didn't like better than Pre-LCI. This is an exception in my opinion.

That interior is sharp. Like, REALLY sharp.

but the rest still needs to grow on me... minus the wheels. They are foul.

Yeah. I could see some chick going crazy over it because matches her iPod and "looks cute"

I didn't realize they did away with the ashtray cover, but have wondered why mine didn't have it.

I question whether this is really a US spec car or just a pre-prod for the show. Too many discrepancies with the trim/features.

Between the lame wheels and the white trim this is the girliest looking 135i BMW could have presented.
