Back after a few years hiatus

I used to be an active member on the 1addicts forums back when I had a 2010 135i. Now after a few years (and a few cars) I've found my way back as I'm the new owner of a beautiful 2013 135is.

Just picked up the car today, and had some wheels and new tires waiting to be installed. I drove home, hand some lunch and then let the modding begin.

BTW, if you still have the 313s that came with the car and are planning on selling them, you can probably sell them here PDQ. Then again, you may want to keep them. They're a pretty special part of the 135is look. I don't have a 135is but I do have the 313s on my car and I love them.

Thanks! I do still have the 313s. I'm planning on holding onto them as I do like the look of them as well, just wanted something a bit wider for the warmer months. The 313s also aren't in the greatest shape so I plan on having them refinished while they're off the car.

Very nice! I cant see doing too many mods as these cars are rare and what's the point of changing= might as well buy a regular 135 and mod. I plan on doing a Dinan tune and that's it. Love the white good luck with it.

Ah nice! The X4 M40i is a great ride from what I've seen/read. I just saw in another thread that BMW is doing the same variant for the next X3. I'll have to take a hard look at those when they come out.

Yeah I agree, there's not much I really can see myself doing to the car. The wheels were really just to get some more rubber underneath. I'd probably still like a little bit more power, but I got a 3 year/36k mile bumper to bumper warranty so definitely won't be doing anything too extreme that would cause any warranty issues.

I think my first order of business will be some brake pads and rotors. I am not sure about the full service of the car, but with 33k miles it's probably a safe bet that hasn't been done.

...Actually, there was a grey 135is there on Saturday, was that you? I was in the middle of telling a few guys there how the 135is was rare and then the grey one pulled up haha.

I'm VERY partial to the anthracite ARC-8s on Jet Black, but hot damn do those look great on Alpine. Welcome back!

Did it come with the OEM Performance Exhaust? It looks like it.

Thanks! I couldn't find too many pictures of Anthracite ARC-8s on Alpine White, so I wasn't 100% sure if I'd like them. I'm completely happy with how they turned out though.

Yes, it did come with the Performance exhaust, though I think that's standard on the 135is?
