Spent most of her life in the garage. I don't let her out until the sun shines.

Here in Portland it mostly rains...

My 135is Convertible, purchased from Carmax in late November, has a hair over 7000. Being as I'm in a snowy climate in winter, it is up on a car lift at the moment and not easy to check the exact mileage, but it is at approximately 7015.

Hey, I didn't put those hearts in nor did I plan to order on valentine's day, just happened that way. But, hey, at least I still have my IS. =P And man, that PE exhaust is the perfect diameter to show how much I love her on valentine's day. Burns though.

No, I only have 3000. It doesn't get driven unless it is sunny out!

Wow, and I was thinking I need to drive it more and I'm at ~4300

Like yours, mine spends much of the time in the garage under the cover due to work obligations - but when she does see the light of sunny day, it's a blast.

Last thanksgiving, I did 950 miles over 3 days in East TN and West NC - looking to do it again this spring.

But...but what if a single bug is splattered upon that beautiful carbon black paint? Or a single dew drop falls from a tree upon your windshield?!

I suppose I'd just have to suck it up and wash and wax it...again, for the umpteenth time - as for paint flaw worries, BMW included plenty of paint flaws as as standard equipment.

Smart alek, like you, of all people should talk about anal retentiveness on keeping a car clean......shouldn't you be off looking for a 135is replacement or something?? You're down to two months left!

You want to trade for a few days Greg? I'm sure I can put 1000+ miles on it in a weekend for you.

Sure thing. On Friday, I'll leave it in the smart and final parking lot with the keys inside. It's got comfort access, so you should be good to go. Enjoy!

Sweet. tapout2taxes and I both park on the 2nd floor of the Smart and Final lot, I'll leave the key on the passenger rear wheel, no comfort access.

To use pirate terms: no walking the plank (fatal) but marooned (back in the pirates days euphemistically called "to be made governor of an island") for some time.

So yes, he will be back later this year. Hopefully he still wants to join again.

If I did, it would remind me of the itch from a skin disease :-)

I won't name names cause I'm not a rat, but I know a few IS people have the itch. I for one do not. Sure is a bargain at MSRP vs an M235, though getting an allocation is quite the pain in the butt at this point. Who knows if that's just initially, or if it'll always be like that.
