Guys, I dropped into a dealer this afternoon in Wollongong (NSW south coast) and spoke to Gary, and to my surprise, he said that he had a 1M allocation but NO order or deposit taken , so if you want to be #1 in their very small queue then call right NOW! (his phone # diverts to his mobile)

I don't understand how he could be given an allocation when this car is oversubscribed two to one at the moment. Why wouldn't HO give it to a dealership like BMW Melbourne that are holding 8-9 paid deposits over and above their allocation?

The salesman said that they have a "allocation" but if they don't take an order by June then they will loose it, to someone like BMW Melb. What I can't believe is that no one has ordered/put a deposit on their car
