Finally got a chance to install the headers this weekend and in combination with the PE exhaust, it is loud. I wouldn't quite call it obnoxious, but it is fairly close. I am glad that I kept the PE exhaust on because it, IMO, sounds bad ass, especially at WOT and shifting in the 4k range

I do prefer the appearance of the AA exhaust over the PE, the double-walled tips look a lot better. However, until the PE starts to really bother me, I don't think I can justify the cost just for a short axle-back.

To anyone running the AA exhaust on an otherwise stock exhaust; does the system drone on the highway? I've heard that there is some drone at @2000 rpm, which is exactly the rpm I cruise at on my commute. Any feedback would be appreciated. Also, has anyone had the CEL come on after install, and not go away after the adaptation period?

I love that you're still offering new parts for the 128i!

There is a bit of drone around 2100 or so under load. But you will want to rev the car and enjoy the real sound up higher in the revs. There are no control past the headers to monitor for a CEL. No code would become active for an axle back .

Thanks. I'll definitely be looking into saving up for this!
