The offset is 40mm on all sizes and widths.

if the offsets are 40mm, why don't you list the ultraleggera in 18x9 as a fit? i thought it was because the offset put the wheel too far outboard. shouldnt we expect the same out of these rears? thanks.

It will fit but the offset is pretty aggressive. It will limits the possible tire widths in the rear without rubbing. 255's would be about the max width on the rear with a low offset like that.

Just found this thread, very close to purchasing these rims - in fact it's very likely. I'd recommend stock widths for this: 215 front and 245 rear. At present I have 8" rims ET38 on the front with 225's and there is a 2-3mm poke but with no rubbing. Rear 9" ET38 and 245's with a slight rub (5-6mm poke). I doubt the 40 offset (2mm reduction) will eradicate any rub as it's so slight. However another few mm's reduction (~ET42) and tyres would clear perfectly. I had to swop out the 255's (from previous owner) due to both width and also the hard shoulder on the Hankook Ventus V12's. The Conti Sport Contact 3's have a far more rounded shoulder which also helps.
I would actually be faced with slightly more to pay on these than the Performance 313's (due to shipping & customs vs buying direct from BMW) but these are superior in weight, strength (the 'HLT' process is meant to ensure a strength that is close to a forged wheel), and aren't composed of a machined 2 tone finish (313 etc) so would be easy to refurbish. I would have to run 10mm spacers on the Performance wheels as the offset is far too mild - something I'd ideally rather not do (more money, issues of safety & more that will naturally wear & tear). The Alleggerita's will probably sit flush on the front (on 225's) and poke slightly (~2mm) on the rears. If a little rub on the rear (highly likely) I'm not too bothered, it'll be minor and only over sharp dips. No doubt they'll look the schizzles: I'm a fan of clean, simple, track-style rims. If I do purchase them over the following months I will report back - see there's no thread for the Alleggerita's actually fittied on the 1 series? Or nothing I've found yet anyway...
