Is the sunroof tinted?

Just curious if the sunroof is factory tinted or if it's clear like the rest of the glass on the 1er?

I think it's ever-so-slightly tinted though I've only fiddled with the thing twice, it annoyed me both times, muttered obscenities, immediately closed the contraption, paid little attention, so I guess I really don't know.:iono: Was that helpful or what? Some moderator, huh?

I know for a fact it comes tinted on the E46s. Not sure about the 1-series, but probably.

Sounds like me. I'm not fond of sunroofs and would gladly give mine up for some alcantara seats. DO YOU HEAR ME BMW?

Yes it's tinted.

The bar through the middle of the pic is my garage door opener, by the way.

I don't think I've ever seen a sunroof that wasn't tinted. It would be kinda blinding.
