2012 135i

Ok, so this car is awesome. I'll start off with saying that it's just simply awesome. Since it's purchase on April 30th, I got JB3 and a 4" catless downpipe. I've upped the boost to 5.0 psi and it's very quick. I'm going in for a dyno next week. However, I want more speed. I'm looking into a FMIC and meth injection but are there any meth kits out there for the n55?

No meth that I know of for N55, although JB are working on it
There are Meth kits via your trunk and rerouting and etcccccc. But they are alot of work, if you want more info just email Terry at Burger and he can tell you all the options.

They have a quick meth kit coming but it may be a few months due to vigorous testing.

Yeah, I've talked to Terry. I live not too far from him, so we did some logging for the 2012's on my car. I know about his kit in the work and I'm going to try and be a tester. I was just curious on what else is out there.

Cooler, I live in Westlake. We should go for a drive some time.

Yeah Terry installed my JB3 as well, I can't wait for the quick meth kit either but I think I am already putting down to much power to the ground because I went to California Dragway and I could not get a good launch for the life of me even with launch control, just kept spinning and spinning. Need to get rid of stock tires most likely.

There seems to be a good # of 135's here on the West side of the valley, atleast 3-4 in Woodland Hills and then your in Westlake. I would be down for some kind of drive/meet for sure.

Awesome! I'd love to check out the mods you guys have that I don't. I'm interested in all of them, mainly the FMIC. Curious to hear your exhausts too. Does anyone happen to have a charge pipe? I've been looking into the ER one.

I had one installed on my car by evolution racewerks when they were test fitting the FMIC and their charge pipe on the N55...but I just didnt want another thing to take off before I took the car into the dealer. That do some really high quality work though if you are looking for a FMIC or a charge pipe.

The charge pipe is really only going to benefit you if you are going with a high boost application. If you have a tune for example. It will also benefit you if you plan to run a meth kit.

Yup, I spoke to Terry about the quick meth kit when I was there and he said you would have to get some kind of charge pipe for it to work since it would need to be directly connected into there. I asked him if he could work something up with the stock one and etc and he said he will see but I think you will have to go aftermarket.

If you want the best bolt on's for the most horsepower then just go Tune - Downpipe - FMIC. Then if you want great sound go Exhaust / Intake. Then after that it starts getting expensive with LSD, etc lol.

Btw Aries, I thought you were going Procede? Did something happen?

Yea I was going to go with procede...but I got all excited about the Injen intake...so I had about $1000 to spend so I figured I would pick up a JB3 and the Injen instead of just procede.

I think at some point I will probably also pick up procede, but just not right now. I have plans to install the N55 power kit on the car for the last year that I have the car also that way if they check the logs and see higher boost...they will just think oh it is just the BMW performance kit.

I thought from what I read is that dealers don't have the tools needed to be able to get that much into the ECU and check logs for boost and etc unless the ECU gets sent to Germany to be analyzed then they can see.

Be very careful with the new dme cpu in the n55. It has some scary logging functions.
There seems to be a very real trend to catch modders and cancel motorplans
