Item Interest
I just paid off my lease and have my title in hand. Had this car for almost 5 years, very well maintained. It has a little over 38k miles on it. I have lots of mods put in as I will explain later. I am just trying to get an idea on how much this vehicle is worth in the private seller sector and anyone who is interested. I bought an X5 as it is more practical to me and although I do love the 135i, it is time to move on. For the year it has barely any miles on it, as I am not much of a traveler. It still has a premium extended warranty until 2018 which covers just about everything. Upon interest I will give more details about it. Recent maintenance includes walnut blast and replaced injectors.

Main modifications include:

Cobb Accessport V2
Stage 2+ Tuning
Agency Power Downpipes
Agency Power High Flow Race Midpipe
Hartge Quad Exhaust (Genuine)
Hartge Custom Quad Diffuser (Genuine) Painted by German BMW shop to match jetblack color.
Agency Power Turbo Inlet/BOV Kit
Agency Power Intercooler Kit
Injen Short Ram Twin Air Intake(Includes two new filters)
VMR 710 MAtte Black
Viper Responder 3303 Security System
Quad Laser Interceptors (Sensors installed in front grill and on rear bumper above exhaust) Kill switch is installed under driver's right leg area
Michelin Pilot Supersport summer tires with good amount of tread on it

All Hartge was purchased and installed while I had my stay in Germany so they are genuine and did cost a couple grand in itself. Had Scopion CF splitters in front, rightside snapped off so the glue is still on front bumper. Same thing with CF mirror covers, right one also fell off in car wash, but no damage to actual mirror, just 3m tape residue. Rear spoiler is also not stock but is not CF. CF eyelids installed. Have M Door sills, M floor covers Chrome M gas, brake and foot rest pedals. Has front Chrome M license plate and rear M license plate frame. Black Kidney Grills also installed, still have original. Also has steering wheel pod adapter with two AEM gauges, one installed for boost gauage, connected to air intake hose, the other is not installed for the fuel ratio. That needs to be installed on exhaust but I never got it installed. Yes I have some badges, some like it some hate it. They can always be removed. I was infatuated with the black/red combo so the emblems except for the steering wheel have red badge which replaced the blue. I did a VIN decode and found more specific information out about the vehicle.I don't know why it says 135is, as it is just a 135i. It does have heated seats and the M Sport package as well. Still have original downpipes, axleback exhaust, air intake box and grills. Will include two car covers made specifically for this model and 128, as well as a genuine BMW sun shade and rear diffuser.

Didn't get the car polished up, been keeping in the garage but here are a few quick photos I just took.

PS: I will not part out, looking to sell all as is.

I would assume you'd fall in the 19-23 range, mileage is awesome but as you know with modded cars people seem to be more choosy about what's best for them. You're close to me here in Vegas I'm sort of waiting to see what people think about this car too!

i put it on autotrader and paid their little package fee so they can list it and post it until it sells, until I get realistic price ranges I don't even know what to ask. I understand about the mods, but the mileage and extended warranty should of course be taken into consideration. Plus I know very few people who have the hartge exhaust system and lots are interested in that. I'll just have to see who bites at the whole package. Plus KBB said it was within that range anyways and that's for stock.

I agree with you about the warranty and mileage but a similar untouched black 6 speed 135 with 19k miles on it minus the warranty sold for 21-22 just a few days ago on here. Much easier to sell a car like that because it meets everyone's taste obviously. I think you have a good car here just going to take a much more specific buyer and obviously more time plus the southwest is a difficult market which doesn't help a ton. I would tell you to start at 23 and adjust accordingly but time will be the test!

yes you are absolutely correct, very specific buyer for sure. I'm in no rush to sell, that's why it's a Feeler right now. Until the guys at Autotrader give me a good quote to start off with then i'll put a for sure price on it. It'll be posted on KBB and other sites until it sells anyways. I just want it to sell within the year before I start moving again. You're right, the market is more rare down here for sure but only time will tell.

Look man, I'm going to be honest because you are bumping this thread it seems like you are interested in perhaps selling the car. I bought my 2011 with 32k 9 months ago for about 3gs less than kbb/nada FYI.
Then there are some very easy things that will make your car much more marketable. You gotta remove the tape and glue residue, and the other carbon stuff on the driver side. Get rid of m badges and remove the red and black BMW emblems. With that alone you will get more interest. Just trying to help, good luck with the sale

good tips, i could probably at least get rid of the mirror tape, the bumper may be a little bit more difficult. If someone didn't like the red they could easily remove it themselves. If it doesn't sell I will keep it as a secondary car so i'm not desperate to sell. The car you're referring to that you purchased, was it fully modded as well?

IMO - Part this thing out/put it back to stock and I think it'll sell pretty quick. Mods do not add value, as most people would much rather buy a stock car that hasn't been messed with.

yea but then again you could say that about every other car people are trying to sell here, fact of the matter is most will not do that either because they physically can't revert to stock or it's just not worth the hassle. Because even parting out and reverting to stock may increase chances it does not guarantee a sale.

True but you'd be hard pressed to get $25k for a modded $20k car. In my previous experience, parting out the car has always been worth it. Just my 2 cents.

i understand it's just crazy that KBB puts it between 19-23 and if about 10k of mods are put into it you think 25k would be reasonable price, but the market is really bad for cars like these

Since you asked what the market is for a car like this.. I would give maybe $17-$18k based strictly on the mileage. You're the owner so to you it looks like "10k of mods," as the buyer, I see $3-4k in money I would have to spend to FIX it.

With the exception of the diffuser and the exhaust (which are very nice), as far as mods are concerned, everything else is either status quo, or tasteless. Good luck with the sale!

interesting point of view, but that's not a definitive perspective. This is obviously a modded performance car so if someone is looking for particular mods this will attract them the most rather than someone looking for a stock car. I see it as money and time they do not have to spend on upgrading it, if they had that idea already in mind. Also whatever your status quo or "tasteless" definitions are, I will try not to take offense, but it doesn't really explain why you use words like that. Tasteless to me holds a negative connotation which means someone didn't use a resource in the correct way or did not put much thought into an action.

I wouldn't say it's tasteless at all, besides the M badges everywhere and the glue/tape residue. The mods are high quality. I (and probably 99% of the people on here) just think your expectations are too high.

true true, more realistic approach. I got an offer for 17 but thought that was too low. I'm in no rush but will keep on market, maybe someone will bite. Thanks for inputs.
