Why the VS7 when the VS8 is the newest wheel with all the little refinements that make a wheel look so much better?
The VS7's are a little blockey around the rim face, where the VS8 is angled (at least in front) and looks cleaner with slightly rounded spokes. Not the mention, the more open design of the 7 spoke wheel will really show off the calipers more. |

Man, they are talking mid-July delivery on the e90 GB. Then we have to wait on the e46 GB. I am thinking I start saving now and by this time next year our GB should be in full swing.
Back on topic: These are awesome looking wheels and would love to get the VS8's in an 18" configuration. |

Jim new_one, I am all confused now. Is the 18's now $2250? So the group buy is for the 18's VS7? But is it staggered or non-staggered? I really want to buy this!

Is the group buy for VS7 or VS8? I understand that it's for 18's either way.

Just a word of caution, now that my springs have settled it looks like the 225 is too much for the dropped car. There is some slight rubbing in the front. |

If possible most are looking for that. Because it's a new car here in the ol' USA there is some fitting being done, and at least preliminarily it's not looking good for the square I admit.
Carlos I am sure will be hitting us up with his testing and recommendations as soon as he is ready.

I would guess he will eventually make either the VS7 or VS8 in 18" or 19" if there are enough requests. My understanding (and I could be wrong!) is that we are trying to get the group buy started with VS7 at 18" as that is what there was the most initial interest for. He is testing fitment for a square setup, but that may not be ideal as we are finding out with the first batch of folks trying out their non-custom new wheel setups. If anyone has any questions post 'em up and I will try and keep this thread updated!

Well it seems that a custom configured wheel in a non-staggered set-up is the only way to go for a square set-up.. Whether VS7 or VS8 is just a matter of taste and I, for one, am entirely flexible in that regard... Just get me the widest rubber in front possible...The good looks are just added benefit..:eyebulge::headbang::headbang::thumbup:

According to Carlos the time frame is 90 days after the GB is initiated which means 20 folks have paid up.

If these will fit bigger rubber up front better than current options, then I'm all over it. It sounds that with most current options, even 225s are a problem up front with 8.5" wide wheels! :eyebulge:
