Regarding my Check Engine Light (Please help!)

Hey guys, I have a 2009 BMW 128i (E82). This is my first car ever and I need you guys help.

When I push the key in and press the Engine start button (The state where battery is on and car's battery is connected to electric starter motor) (First photo), I have the (yellow)engine light that stays on.

But the light goes off as soon as i press the break pad and and press the Engine on button to start the engine (instantly) (2nd photo). The light never comes on when the engine is on or even driving.

Is this normal??

Also currently I notice that after 1000 rpm, I think i am hearing this little computer fan hissing? sound. It is slightly noticeable but does anyone know about this?

Thank you guys. Appreciate the help

Its normal. Its a system self test check prior to start. The computer knows that the faults will be generated without the engine running, so when you start the vehicle it clears the faults and performs the test again.
