"First Street Tire to do a 1g Turn"

Just saw the BF Goodrich tire commercial, with the tagline "First street tire to do a 1g turn"

Obviously there's some fine print in that, as other cars have done this (stock Evo's nowadays on stock Yoko's for instance, or maybe they were referring to Dodge Vipers on stock tires years ago?)

But it leaves me wondering, has anyone with a 1er measured this? What numbers have you guys pulled? I think inside line rated the stock 135i at .89 g.

Since they didn't specify which tires, I'm guessing they're referring to a car from some time ago as you mention.
