Castrol TWS Motorsport 10w60 for track?

i bought some OEM BMW Castrol TWS Motorsport 10w60 (for M-cars) by accident. Would you recommend using this for HPDE?

Right now I am running German Castrol 0w30 and my mechanic said it's WAY too thin for our cars. Especially for the summer.

Would it be worth it switching to the 10w60 for the HPDE (I plan to do 2 within the next 4 weeks) + remaining of the summer and change back to 0w30 for the winter?

Thanks guys.

I would not use oil designated by the Manufacturer for a N/A car in a turbo car. Thicker flowing oil may not get to the turbos quick enough. I would definitely not use.

thanks for the reply.

i was afraid that my GC 0w30 will be too thin at high temp for the track.

but it turned out that it did just fine for the track.

max ambient temp: 28 C or 82 F
max oil temp: 125 C or 257 F (under 120 C and 248 F most of the time)
