scraping on rear shock

Hello: I have Bilsteins front and rear. The left rear has a rusty mark where the paint has been scraped away. The only thing that comes close is the sway bar link. I turned the shock yesterday, to see if there is a new scrape. Any ideas, please?

Hi: I was just thinking about that. I have 18'' wheels, but 16'' for the winter. I should test fit the 16" and see if it comes close. I noticed when I made a left turn or curve that I would hear rubbing. Maybe it's just the 16" wheel or tire. I'll check it today. Thanks.
