That should be the title of a new thread. I bet there will be a lot of M3 owners trading into an M1 or at least being tempted to do so. The M1 is closer to any other M3 ever made over the current one in my opinion.

Scott, is this a take off on the Individual, or dealer installed pieces? I know the paint would have to be from the factory, but the rest look like they may be like the "BMW Performance" pieces that you need to own the delivered hood, trunk, wheels, etc., and then purchase additional pieces.

Either way, cool stuff, but I can easily see people tricking out their cars, and winding up with $70k M1's.

Problem is, at what cost?! I can see ticking a few of these options will bring it up to M3 price territory!

I'm in for at minimum the color options. I bet the paint alone will run $2,500 but that's just a guess.

Wow thats amazing!
Hopefully they won't go the Porsche route and make the fully loaded options worth more than the MSRP of the car though LOL.

Forget the tune on the current 1 we just bought. I think it will be for sale in a couple years.

def considering selling my M3 to get this one
as much as i love my M3
i always prefered smaller cars
my E30 felt so much more nimble than my E92
more immediate
this M1 might be just what i want
i just hope its around 375hp not 350
