I am guessing those who got it for £400 have been lucky. Maybe they have changed their minds? Either way, I can't understand why they wouldn't just update the price list on the website/dealer documentation to help the customers.

I paid £400 for mine 6 weeks ago and have yet to receive the pack from BMW UK.

I have since got the dealer that sold me the car to send me written proof that I paid the £400 and exactly what is was for.

So if BMW pull any tricks I will have the required proof.

Call customer services. Ask them to confirm the amout with the 1 series product manager, James.

Bradley, what "pack" are you waiting for? All you shoud get is a card from your dealership and the fact you've got the pack marked on the cars history on the BMW computer system.

Good news email from the dealer - after about 5 days discussion:

"I’m sorry for the confusion about the service pack. Although our ordering system shows it as £1000, I have had confirmation from BMW that the Service Inclusive pack is £400 if bought at the time of registration (or within 60 days of first registration).

Would you like us to add it to your order at a cost of £400?"

Thank you forum. £600 in the pocket. First drink is on me. Still not tempted by iDrive though! :-)

My chap was "looking at the 2010 pricelist"... Alright, whatever you say... took him a month.

Get the iDrive, you'll need it to distract you during the running in period. Also worth it for the spoken news function buried in the Online Portal. Hours of fun.
