Cool Xenons

Please can E90 owners confirm if their xenons have that lovely cool blue tint? Also, are the US xenons different from the European ones?

Mine has a rather bright yellowish white bright tint, but after a few minutes it gets more 'blueish' but not like the 'older' cars(E Mercs, E39 5 series, Audis A6) here, they have a more bright blue tint.

Dunno if there is any difference in US or EU. I think it depends on the bulb specs.

My xenons have a very blue tint after turning on the lights, but after +- 30 seconds they turn into yellow/white (if they have warmed up)

weytie, you're right, first it's blue then yellowish, but after a few minutes they turn more blue white again.

Early D2S bulbs were more blue, but gave off less light, the manufacturers ( Osram and Phillips ) changed the bulbs slightly to give off more light a couple years ago, but now they are more white/yellowish

The D1S used in the E90 conforms to the newer specs

USA an Europe use the same bulbs
