It's either that or a roughly equivalent Dinan package. I want simple, reliable, fairly conservative (because DD) plug-and-play.

I am in exactly same spot. Although I am going to do this in stages so right now I just want the PS upgrade and new tires.

* BMWPS (10mm lower than m-sport)
* Dinan camber plates (increases front ride height 6mm) * ARC-8 235/40/18 (2mm larger diameter than stock tires) I have the stiffer spring setup on my 128i. The rear sits a little too high imo (stiff setup has a thicker rear coil). The camber plates up front counter this for me though. Between the camber plates and the stiffer rear spring the car is probably only ~4mm lower than m-sport ride height. It works perfect for me though since I wouldn't be able to make it into my driveway, or down into the parking garage at work, if I went any lower. It would be nice to be another 10mm or so lower though. Other than that, the suspension is great overall. BMW states 48% stiffer than base and 34% stiffer than M-sport. The ride can be a little stiff on NY roads, but I feel like this is how the car should've came from the factory. I'll try to get a better picture when I get home, but this is how the car sits with the aforementioned items installed: Last edited by bNks334; 06-02-2016 at 11:48 AM.. |
