ASR Engineering Boost gauge install

Im posting pic's of my boost gauge install done at ASR Engineering. I was very happy with the clean install, as you can see there are no exposed lines and even the factory vents are still in place.

Could you take a picture where the gauge is mounted, with flash or a better light source? I'm thinking of putting a boost gauge at the same location, so I want to know how they manage to mount it on the vent w/o any visible mounting plate... thanks!

They took the top vent apart and cut 3 fins out and mounted the gauge pod flush so nothing would be exposed. If you do not cut the fins the gauge will not be flush and you lines will be exposed...

Oh! Thanks! I might have to look up the price of the vent before cutting into it, just in case I changed my mind or messed up :P

Just curious about these A pillar mounts. If the curtain air bag inflates, won't it turn the meter into a projectile?
