Do the results show who is a good instructor for his dad?

fast driver '= good instructor (all the time) - and I don't even know who got FTD (which is usually Hank, but I heard that didn't happen)

Congrats to Joe Kraetsch and the rest of the NCR team though. I was at a party with Mark, Scruffy, Joe, et al on Saturday evening. Heard about the long awaited win!

They should have won it last year too, if it were not for a team member who bailed, and caused a forfeit.

Thanks! Although the results don't reflect it, I was really happy with my driving this weekend, too (makes 2 events in a row). I only had one clean run, in the afternoon. The morning's fastest lap was marred with 5 cones, although I improved on the cone count on the next run with 7. The afternoon's fastest lap had four cones. Even Scott was laughing each time I rolled past control in the AM. On the plus side of all the cones, most were nudges from the rear tires.

On to business... Here's the analysis:

I had a blast at both autocrosses. I got some cleaning to do from all the cones my dad hit though . Thanks ML. Mike and I were smoking the track yesterday. hitting 67's and 68's. some with more cones than others

BTW and1, nice way to step up for the Class B win... swapping 83's and 85's in the AM and PM with Christo for a 0.35 sec. advantage on the average!

thank you, thank you. i really thought he had me beat cuz i didn't know my first run in the AM was clean. that results email was a pretty sweet surprise

so now we're tied for the class lead.....all coming down to the final event! game ON!

EDIT

a tough edit to make here.. just got an email from scott and it seems there WAS a cone on my first run. it was marked on the manual reporting sheet, but not in the automated system. so i end up 2nd for the event and out of the running for the class win. not that i'm complaining at all.....just tough that it had to go down this way, but that's life i guess.

congrats to christo on the win tho! may the best driver.....won?

Harsh! So 1st in class B is officially locked up? Even if you were to win Event 7 and tie for first again, Christo would win the tie-breaker?

And, Larry, you planning on being back in B next year?

yup, Christo's got it locked up with 4 wins already. i'd have needed to win on saturday and then the final event too. i think i might have 2nd clinched too, tho 3rd is still wide open! right now it belongs to dan pearce, with baker just a couple points behind. lana has been making a hard charge tho....can we get 2 1ers on the podium???

B is gonna be the new A at this rate! mark dudek is moving up to B too and he puts up the same times as me in a C car

I may have to run r-comps next season. AR seems much less competitive than A or B. Definitely fewer cars running in AR and less consistency in the entrants. I guess it's kind of like getting promoted out of the way.

you could probably just register in AR without the mods too....it's not like your car would be outclassing the others, so idk why anyone would object. unless your goal is to place better, in which case you'd have to mod it up more, whether that's r comps or something else. you've gotta be close to AR already tho, between the wheels, coilovers, camber plates etc, right?
