These prices are all over the place (granted they should be as people in general are all over the place given how many variables go into an insurance rate)... not a 135i, but there is mine.

Vehicle: 2008 Acura RDX
36 month lease (leased 1/1/08)
Location: Long Island, NY
Age: 24, 7 months 'til 25 =)
Sex: Male
2 moving violations
-April 04
-April 06

Insurer: State Farm
Rate: $215/month

Believe it or not Progressive wanted $433/month. Geico wanted $250/month

Geico quoted me 80% MORE when I had my Tundra. I was paying $106 a month at Allstate, Geico wanted $190 month. I went to Country Companies and it went down to $90 a month. The best which I have now is Esurance. $65 a month for my Civic Si and aprox $84 a month for the 135i. Geico is a rip-off.

Most of these quotes aren't going to do anyone else any good if the quotes you are giving are not compared to a car that you already own and are paying for. This way we could tell what type of increase or decrease you are getting in insurance quotes.

Finally, I found a good quote. $120/month in CA for a 24 yr old. single guy. That is $10 better than I am paying now on my 07 GTI and I get more coverage.

Not bad for a single 24 year old. It should drop when you hit 25, or get married.

Mine is 1272.00 a year, just totaled my car not bad for a 35yr. GEICO wanted 236.00 a month, I'm guessing the celbrity ads and the lizard arent cheap. They told me I an getting the perfered member price. In laymens terms that means prision b!tch.

Just ran the numbers with my Progressive. $1000 deduct/full coverage. Price was the same for what I currently drive. $741 for 6 months. 24yr old, 1 accident and a speeding ticket.

They are THE HIGHEST I have EVER gotten quotes on. Thats after they spend 5 MINUTES explaining on the phone why they are less expensive. WHAT A JOKE.

$730 per annum for 128i (2008)
$670 per annum for 325i (2006)

Multi-vehicle, mutli-policy discounts (auto, homeowner's, umbrella). 46 yr. old with a good driving record, i.e., they've never caught me. Also, considering that the policy includes my 16 yr. old on all five of our vehicles, I think it is very reasonable...

I just got quoted in Stuttgart DE at AIG Europe. A whopping 308 per month! I'm going to continue looking and see what a US company can do for me...

No quote through AAA, but Mercury seems to be the cheapest for me so far.

Was wondering when someone would throw USAA up here......

That quote is about what I figured.....USAA rocks, so glad I jumped in when I was on Active Duty.

I had a 2006 WRX and a 2006 Tribeca - 100k/300k and 500 deductable. paid 150 month.

right now have the 06 Tribeca and 98 Forester - pay 120 month

I am 43 - no tickets - no accidents.

Hey K, you had a Z before the 1 too? I'm on that boat too! I was paying 1200$ per 6 months on the Z with AllState, I found out that they're pretty expensive so I'm switching to Geico or Progressive once I get my 1.

Thing is also for how long you guys have had your licenses. I got mine in Sept. 07 (even though I'm 27, that's when I got to the U.S.) and everyone's told me that's a major issue for insurance companies.

Still, it looks like AllState is kinda expensive anyways.
