Removing Wheels

+1. Living in the same area, and lithium grease has always worked great.

On new cars, what I also do is remove the brake discs at all 4 wheels to lube the hub to prevent the disc to rust against the hub. This makes future disc brake replacement a breeze.

Haha man this got a lot of hits over night and this morning! I have the day off from work today so looks like I'll be trying some WD40 and slipping the floor jack handle on for added leverage. Never even thought of that. Genius!

Its a PITA to jack this car up. I have to drive up on a couple 2x4s to even be able to fit the jack under the bumper and of course when I try to do that in my garage, the wood just slides across the floor so I have to brace it against the back wall with random things I can find. Then once that happens, there is hardly any room for the jack/handle. It's quite the ordeal.

Everyone should have a LONG breaker bar. Also it helps IF you have a nice long(four foot-er plus) metal pipe that can slip over said breaker bar... use that combo for added leverage.

I removed a chainlink fence a few years ago and I use one of the support rods on the end of my 18 inch breaker bar when needed. Very handy to have.
