Good point. I'll ask Stu. I've asked Ground Control and they've told me they need the KW spring inner diameter measurement. I'll need to pull my front end apart to measure this though, which I don't really want to do until I'm actually installing the plates! Does anyone know the spring inner diameter of KW V2s?

What's the hassle adjusting trackside or at home - if the aligner has already marked the points to adjust to?

Another good point. I'll google KW and see what they've got to offer.

from what i understand its a tricky three way juggle and not just a simple mark on the camber plate. as you move the 'camber' the toe changes requiring another adjustment. I have read the sales material which reads like 'just jack up trackside and slide to the pre determined mark.......' but when i have asked the pros they just laugh and say 'well you can give it a go BUT I wouldn't' I kinda figure the last thing I need at the track doing 200 down the straight is the car wanting to walk about.

Just set it to neg 2 and live with tyres wearing on the inside, plus your gonna wear the outside at the track so alls even i figure

You may be right, but my suspension/alignment guru, Ken Graham from Accurate Suspension (Brisbane), assures me it's not that hard. He says he can measure up both the settings I want in his workshop, print out the readings and arrive at something I can easily adjust to at the track/home. Dunno.

I'm currently running nearly 4 degrees of fixed neg camber. Great on track! I was contemplating a 2 deg compromise if I don't adjust before & after track days.

Cool. PM me the super price you can offer me Stu!

Vorshlags look great, but some Ground Control units have padded perches which may offer better NVH isolation for my daily driver. GC tell me they have a set that will fit my setup but want my top spring inner diameter - which I can't measure while they're on the car. Does anyone know what this measurement may be? I thought it's be the same as OEM as the KWs use the OEM upper perch, but I don't know what that is either…

Edit: KW agent Mike from Prestige & Performance in Coorparoo tells me he should be able to supply. Still happy to hear what price you can get the Vorshlag plates to me for though Stu.

Melb, Vic. 125i BMW Performance Exhaust Perfect condition.

I have a BMW 125i Genuine Performance Exhaust for sale. Perfect condition!

Car was just purchased and was already fitted with it, however the car is for the wife and she thinks it's too loud. I happen to think it sounds absolutely brilliant...............but it's not my car.

Car has 20K and this looked considerable newer than the stock exhaust which they included in the sale, so I'm guessing maybe the BMW PE has done 5K, maybe.

You will need to pick up a 2.5 inch sleeve clamp as I needed this to re-install the original.

They're about $20 for a good one such as this

http://streettunedmotorsports.com/pa...eeve_clamp.htm

Pick up from Melb preferred.

Asking $600.

All OEM parts have been kept and are included in the purchase of the vehicle.

I’m selling my car as I’ve purchased a manual 135i coupe. I bought the car brand new from BMW Canterbury in July 2009 and I have been the only owner/driver. It has high KMs but the majority of these have been driving to and from work on the highway and not in heavy traffic.

I figured I may as well sell the car with the modifications on it to someone from the forums but if not I will be demodifying it and putting it up on carsales probably at the end of this month.

The HPFP was replaced at 60,000kms and 5 injectors were replaced under warranty at ~90,000kms. Modification of the car began only at about 95,000kms.

Price with the modifications is $42,000.

Please feel free to ask me any questions at all. I can also help with the re-installation of the DCIs and OCC if required.

Alex

Apparently I can get KW Camber plates, but I also need to update the KW springs to match (2 per corner) and these update springs are a harder spring rate than what I have with my V2s. So it becomes very expensive & more uncomfortable.
I'll sort out something from Ground Control or Vorshlag eventually.

I have the following for sale (I will post photos on Saturday):

Item 1: (SOLD)
Bilstein PSS10 coil overs with Vorshlag adjustable camber tops and custom 60mm swift springs.

The original PSS10 kit comes with front coilover kit & shocks, progressive coil springs, rear ride height adjusters and rear shocks. But I did not use the Bilstein springs or rear ride height adjuster – so they are all new.

The total list of equipment is:

Front coilover kit & shocks (used)
Rear shocks (used)
Front and Rear Bilstein springs (new)
Bilstein rear ride height adjusters (new)
Front and Rear Swift springs (used)
Vorshlag camber adjusters (used)
Swift rear ride height adjusters (used)
Bilstein Adjuster tools (used)

*** everything is in excellent condition

Total Price: $1600 (SOLD)

Item 2:

Breyton GTS-R 18 inch wheels "bright silver" in colour - in excellent condition. 18x7.5 fronts and 18x8.5 rears.
The wheels have tyres on them but they are completely shot.

Price: $650

Item 3:

N54 Stage 3 - JB3 / JB4 with plug and play wiring harness.
Price: $250

Item 4:

Enthusiast Bavarian Technical Scanner and Software - only used on one car – can still be used on two more cars
Price: $150

Item 5:

Homemade wheel alignment system – specific for 135i/1M. It consists of 2 parallel bars that connect to the front and rear of the car – and you use string line to form a parallelogram. Whilst this is homemade and may sound crude – just about every form of motorsport use a system like this for wheel alignment. It allows you to change wheel alignment at the track quickly – you can experiment with wheel alignment changes quickly – or you can flip between a track and a road setup without paying $100+ to a wheel alignment specialist each and every time.

The bars are only $50 - however if you want a lesson on how to use these to do a wheel alignment – add another $50.

These bars are fragile – so they can only be picked up from Kings Park, Sydney NSW. They are next to impossible to pack for freight.

Thanks
Nick

I'll probably end up fully returning the car to stock and I'm therefore parting out my remaining mods. All of the mods have been on my car under 6 months. Most of them for much less. I'd also be perfectly happy to help with the installation whether in person or over phone/internet etc, time permitting of course.

BMW Performance Gloss Black Kidney Grills (as new condition) $130

BMW Performance Carbon Fibre Trunk Spoiler for E88 (as new condition) $450

Bimmian Carbon Fibre Short Antenna (as new condition) $20

Gutted OE N54 Midpipes $200

PROcede Rev 3 with latest aggressive maps $600

Vishnu PWM WW Methanol Kit (BNIB, includes chargepipe) $1000

BMS Oil Catch Can $150

CP-E DCIs (BNIB) $120
