Question if zaino would be much more expensive... what would you do?

hi zaino users,

after reading all the pros and cons i would like to use zaino, but doing so would mean to spend a lot of money, since there is no zaino re-seller in greece.
buying the zaino products from the usa would mean very high transportation costs plus toll. i could buy zaino from a reseller in germany (normal transportation costs, no toll because of european union) but these guys ask too much, e.g. they charge for the z2pro more than 25 USD, zfx goes for 38 USD.
still it would be cheaper to order zaino from germany than getting it from the US.

On the other hand, all other major competitors can be found for normal prices (for instance meguiars nxt or liquid glass).

what would you do?

would you spend more than double of what you pay for zaino in the US to use it or would you switch?
if you would switch, which product would you go for?

thanks for your feedback.

Try the NXT. I think you will be surprised at how good it is. I know everyone says it does not last but I have been using it and Gold Class before that for years and have found that they last a long time.

I would spend the money and get the Zaino. 1/2 an ounce of Z2Pro (3 layers) will last you 1 year. That means 1 bottle of Z2 pro will last 16 years.

The ZFX only has a shelf life of about 2 years, so you would need to repurchase more once it goes bad (assuming you have any left).

I have Zaino and have used AutoGlym before. Yes, Zaino is better, but would not be worth DOUBLE or more.

I would pay more than double for Zaino if I had to. For me, it's the best available.

When I visit Greece, I'll bring you a bunch of Zaino stuff and you can buy it for the normal price.

I'll also add that I understand your unwillingness to spend the extra money.

If you decide against Zaino, then Autoglym, Carlack, or Klasse would be good alternatives for you and you could get them in Europe at normal prices.

Within the next 5 years definitely.

Seriously though, I want to visit Europe soon, but my school schedule doesn't allow me too. Maybe summer 2007?

well, the price i will pay for the 325Xi e91 (AT) with lots of options but without iDrive is more than 80.000 USD (65.000 EUR).
thus, spending double price for zaino should be within my possibilities...
i just don't want to do a dumb move.
that's why i ask for your opinion.

so, i guess, in this case you would pay the double price?

@pander5
you, too, right?

@hunter399
next time, let me know...

@luckystrike
i will try to do so...

When I had my X5, I would only wax that twice a year with the Gold Class and the water would still bead up pretty good and bird droppings would come right off.
I used the NXT on it last fall and then in March I used meguiar's quick detailer (not the NXT version) and it looked like I had just waxed it.
