Go down to the suspension & brakes section and the track sections and you'll see there are big issues with our brakes for track use in that the rotors are too thin and there's not enough cooling. Bunches of threads on that stuff.

1M front bumper has bigger brake cooling ducts built-in, so that minimises any potential issues.

Minien: You definitely deserve magazine expsoure and some better international acknowledgement for this conversion. I think if you were to get one of your photography friends to make a small yet nice video on the car and upload it onto youtube, you'll have more people talking about this "E87 1M"

ps: I lie, it's only me that wants to see a video haha

I was about to say that car would be the perfect pocket powerhouse. But then I got to thinking about weight distribution, I wonder how that big heavy V8 would effect handling. Im surprised the rear wheels don't pop off the ground, lol.

^^^^agreed......I would cause too much understeer.

What about sticking an E46 M3 lump in the 1er........ Normally aspirated and great power to weight

Simply friggin' badass.....I daresay I think it looks waaaay better than the actual 1M IMHO.....I would love to do a custom WB on my E82.....even though it has been done at least once (I refer to front AND back)
