Decision; DPE Wheels Or CSL Reps + ACS KIT
Ok, I could use your advice guys.
I'm on a budget so either I can get, ONLY DPE Wheels. Or I can get CSL replicas PLUS the AC Schnitzer kit. I think I know which decision I'm leaning towards, but I wanted to know what you guys think. |

I voted DPE. Better to have minimal quality parts than alot of ok parts.

Has anyone had issue with the replica wheels? My undrestanding is they're pretty good quality, in which case if I was stuck with money for one or the other I'd probably get the replicas and the kit.

Nope, I'm planning to get the Velocity motoring ones. A lot of people with e46's and e90's have them. I haven't heard of any issues with their quality compared to other wheels on the market. BTW, if you lived in LA you'd definitely be detailing my car..lol |

Between your choices, i would say csl reps and the kit. Rims get changed a lot, and you can use these csl's now, and when you get bored, and have saved up money later, switch rims, the plus is you'll always have the aero kit to set your car apart! Even guys who buy HRE wheels or other top of the line or DPE, will usually change them out at some time to give their ride a new look.

I think DPE has nice rims. However, once you start mod your car, you might not feel that your car is complete with just the rims, and then you want more. Especially when you got so much temptations from the GBs on this forum, you probably will have a hard time stop modding. This is just my opinon thou....... cause I couldn't stop modding now!!
Just think about if you think you will satisfy with your car with just the rims, or, you think you will be "affected" by the "modding forces" of this forum in the near future. Back to voting: I vote for CSL Reps + ACS kit

Either way you're set Botha re top quality. DPE is really a different class of wheel though, it's hard to compare. Anyways, call us, we have both (CSLs in stock, DPE we can order for you).
Thanks JL |

Personally, I prefer performance mods over looks alone. If you can get both with a single change, all the better. I voted for the DPE's btw. Body kits don't do anything for performance. My vote would be for the DPE's or if you can work out a deal, the used DPE's and a paired set of springs and shocks.

I'm.
I dont consider replica wheels that cost...whatever to be top quality. Danny Quote:
