Anyways, the wait is on, still, for pricing...and guess it's time to start trying to sell the Galant...Anyone want a fun/sporty family car??
I'd be pretty happy with those numbers, I sincerely hope he is right.

When I placed my deposit, the sales agent based the price on something, be it a guess or an actual unconfirmed number that the dealer knows. The agent gave me a price of $45000 for a 135i with M sport package and sunroof. Thats the price I will willing to pay. If BMW decided to jack the price up so high, then it will turn down lots of potential buyer and repeat history like the 318ti and I'll have $2000 back in my bank account!

Your manager is following a cardinal principle in sales; where facts are unknown (or can be hidden), tell the mark whatever he/she wants to hear...

There is no chance in hell that a 135 is going to be 38k here - just look at the markup ratios for other Bimmers and do the math.

well yeah...I was thinking below 40 for a 135 seems a tad low...but then a 328i is 43, and a 335 is 51... so the spread of 7k is a bit on the low side, being for the 3 series it's 8 k.

Sooo, if say the 128 does comes in at 30,000 , not saying it will, then that could put the 135 around 38,000. Of course the 128 could also come in around 34,000 so that would put the 135 at 42,000.

All in all I just want is the guessing to end already, and BMW to just realease what the damn prices

At this time, BMW Canada is figuring out how to gouge us for maximum profit.

They have figured it out: build hype by announcing the car 6 months to 1 year ahead of it's availability, then increase the hype by not releasing the pricing until the very last second. By then, so many are into the car that many will forget about the crazy high price, and will just buy it.... just like me!

I mean, had they said early on that it would be $45K, not many of us would be in this forum now.

If thats the case then it looks like we are on track for high 30s because the Msport package usually runs 5-6gs on the other models (I dont see it being much cheaper if at all on the 135) ...and a sunroof is typically about a grand.

The M Sport Package definitely will not be 5-6gs. $5k for wheels, roof liner and, badges, and seats? The Sport Package for the 1 coupe is in the USA is $1k, and all we get more is the 261M wheels and anthracite roof liner.

I'd guess between $1600 and $2200 for the pkg. And $1500 for the sunroof (thats how much it is on the 3-series in Canada).
