1M pricing in Canada?

Considering the total number of cars allocated for production, there are might be only few 1M arriving to Canada. That will play a big role in pricing and dealers approach to sales.

Prices in Canada are plain robbery, there is a 16k difference for a Z4 3.5is!!!

13K for M3, roughly 10K for a 5 series... 17K for 6 series, 27K for 7 series...

Go to hell BMW Canada!

Now that the US price has been announced at 47K, my expectation, assuming BMW CA follows the US, is to price it somewhere in the range of CAN$54,100 - 58,800. My reasoning is that US$47K slots it between the 335ix (US$45k) and 335is (50K) coupe prices. So if this plays out, we'll see something like CAN$55,100.

Funny that there's been no official mention from BMW Canada whatsoever, i.e. nothing on bmw.ca, whereas many BMW websites around the world have made reference to imminent 1M availability. Maybe there will be a separate 1M Canadian announcement at Toronto or Montreal?

I suspect your price estimate is realistic, Bahuba, but still keeping my fingers crossed for low 50s...

I ll continue bashing BMW Canada then...

They ran a full page advertisement in major newspapers here in Montreal, announcing the 1M....(and others,X1,new 6..) you go on their website or ask the dealers.. nothing!

There is a link on the 1M on BMWUSA.com for more than a month now.

hopeless...

Does anyone know of a dealer in the GTA that is taking deposits? I called Maranello BMW but they want a $5,000 non-refundable deposit.

I would certainly get the car somewhere else.... I have a 1000$ refundable deposit from my dealer
Plus, how can you ask for something like this when it is not even possible to test drive the car??

My thoughts exactly. I understand that production may be limited but I feel they are being unreasonable with that request.
