Pwr Drain?

Who said there is no stupid question? Well I have one. Is there any power drain from the battery when leaving the hood up? There are no lights under the hood but with little trickles here and there, from various areas, I have to ask the question. I open my hood after returning home but would like to leave it up when I have an AC charger attached. All comments good or bad are appreciated. I guess I should add it is a 2012 135i.

I charge my battery weekly with the hood up, no additional drain that I know of. The only concern I have is the possibility of a failing hood strut (nothing lasts forever, I had one fail on my E36). The hood comes crashing down on my charger cables, that would be bad.

Thank you for your comment. The wires are run through openings and would not be affected. Another concern was that I felt that the release mechanism would fail with the frequent opening and closing of the hood. I'll leave the hood up.
