LOL.

BTW, I see you're having the same floor issues I have with the garage/concrete floor paint. Mine is peeling up too.

I just recently bought this house and that is what it came with. It was probably done by the previous owner using a Home Depot kit. At some point in the future, I'll get it redone. I had RaceDeck flooring at my old house but it wore me out. Too much maintence. So I sold it.

This happens when you don't shear the top layer first. If you want the paint to stick you need to have the top layer sanded down with a diamond bit sander, similar to what you'd see used on a hardwood floor but much more intense, basically a massive random orbital. It costs a bit more but it will make the paint last forever. Literally no one does this...

Yep. That's why I recognized it. It looks like the same product I used which was Epoxy Shield which got bought out by Rustoleum.

Yep. I knew there would be other prep methods to make the paint last longer. I also looked into etching. But I thought with a good power wash and the fact the concrete floor in my garage was virgin...meaning the garage floor had absolutely no use on it...I was safe. The paint did last a few years before it started to peel up.

Actually, both places that I got bids from quoted two days of work, the first day being mainly spent on removing the existing epoxy and then diamond grinding the concrete.

"We start by re-profiling your entire garage floor with a Diamond Grinding Machine to remove residue, concrete sealers and/or open up a toweled finished floor. Most importantly, it opens up the pores of the concrete and allows the base coat to penetrate the surface and bind the garage floor coating to your concrete garage floor. This is necessary for both new and old construction."

Then you got a bad crew, they didn't go deep enough! I DIY'd this myself about 7 years ago and the coating is still solid in that house.

I explained that poorly. What is there now was done by a painter using a simple Home Depot kit. I'm saying when I got quotes to get it redone, the two quotes I received included the diamond grinding.

Ah! That makes sense. That's good then you definitely want the cutting. I wonder if it's finally becoming more of a standard practice now since it was included in the quotes.

Anyway...

Might as well put a set of truck nuts on while you're at it.

No doubt the wheel style looks awesome. I think 21" is just a tad too big. I'd try 19s, but honestly 35 series on the 18s is pretty thin for a sidewall. Much thinner and I think you're going to hate the ride, tear up a tire and/or rim in short order.

I saw the Audi TTS with 20s which come with 30 series tires. The dealership pushes a 4 year tire and warranty for an additional $2500 I think. Evil but brilliant marketing to pump up the price of the vehicle lol.

Normally, I skip over wheel threads, but I stopped in here and definitely had a good laugh at the pic, OP (yes, I agree with the majority, they would look great).
