Central PA: Installing a BMW performance exhaust
Hey guys so I'm trying to get a quote for this thing to see if I can make it happen in the near future. I got in touch with my local dealership to see what it would cost me to get it purchased and installed. The parts department has actually priced the exhaust very competitively, but the service department is saying it takes 2.5-3 hours to get it installed and their labor cost is $104/hour.
Is this right?! I have no experience with this before but I'm thinking that 2.5-3 hours might be too much... I was wondering if anyone knows of a good, trustworthy shop in the Harrisburg area that could give me another quote. Would it void my warranty if someone other than BMW installs the exhaust? |

An exhaust shop can do it in 1 hour. If you did it in your garage it'd take 2 hours.
