What Km/l are you guys getting?

Like the title says - I'm getting 12.2 km/l, how does that compare?

I reset after each fill up and am usually in the low 12's but I am way way up the on the Shore and the hills kill your average economy.

This thing drink a lot! I use to think that my STi was a drinker, it was actually better than the 1. I could get close to 400 km per tank, on the 1 I'm looking at 388km per tank and that was running on fumes... I've been rarely pushing this car either, mix of hwy and city.

I'm all the way up at 12.9. Almost entirely urban driving with no freeways or highways. And, I like driving pretty fast on occasion which sucks the gas fast.

12.9 is easy as long as you don't have to be the first to and from the next light.

12.9L/100kms is not good. I don't think I can drive slow enough to get below 12.

I don't know how you guys get such figures...
Maybe something differs in car here in Europe and the rest because i get something around 16 liters/100 kms driving all city and between 10 and 12 on highway (average calculated to be between 115km/h and 130km/h)

I've never seen figures this low. My 135i has averaged around 13 or 14 L/100kms since new.

It would be helpful to post the average speed as well

128 6MT: 12.2L - 56.5KM
135 6MT: 11.5L - 44.5KM
540 5AT: 13.1L - 59.8KM

I just did a 1200km motorway drive down the I5, and got 8.1 l/100, but my average city only driving is more like 13-14. Mine's a 128i though.

My 135i is getting about the same mileage as my 2005 545i. I was hoping the 135i would be in the 11's, but 14's is has been pretty much my average, and I reset at every tank.

getting through the gears faster helps saves gas. The 135's engine has so much usable torque, I never find that I have to go rev crazy to get going. Mind you, this is only when I'm trying to save gas.

135i MT - 12.2L - 56km

So it looks like 12.2 isn't that bad after all. This car just seems to drink gas so much faster than my 04 STi - and I though the STi was a heavy drinker....
