I know it's an OEM retrofit but the thought of cutting through the dash just makes me cringe.

No its not, it's a different, you can see weather, make calls, see gages such as boost, engine load, rpms etc and yes touch screen and voice command

It connects to an add a circuit to a fuse for constant power and it's obd2 bluetooth for gauges

No it doesnt, however my car is usually always next to me since I hardly drive it, only to meets and car events so theft isn't really an issue
