Thumbs up Brake Pads - No Dust!

When I bought my 135i I was disappointed to learn Akebono did not make pads for our cars. What is the next best pad that has 0 to minimal dust?

Thanks!

- Chris

Have a look at EBC Redstuff. I use them in front with stock rear pads. Can't speak to track applications as they've only been exposed to light 20 minute sessions where they did fine. Great street pads, no noise, no dust(or at least very little).

I have also been an Akebono ProACT fan for years. I now have the hawk ceramic pads on the front and Centric posi-quiet ceramic on the back. they are silent and have almost no dust.

If you are going to use hawk pads you HAVE to use the thin clip on backing plates from the OEM pads though or you will get a click when changing directions from front-back. Now that I have added the OEM shims back in, the click is gone.
