i know! i got vorshlags and tckline coilovers a week and a half ago and am just waiting on new tires to put in some track time with the new setup. On the street the car feels even better handling than my e46 m3 did.
im going to the track on wednesday to do an alignment. I'm nearly maxed on negative camber and i'm pretty sure i'm going to see some oversteer at the track for once. After the alignment i'll probably put in a few sessions and have some good notes.

i got them as close as I could without touching the metal around the top shock mount location! Guessing its around 2-1/4" of negative camber or so? I'll see after I get my specs.

cool. the kumhos are great, but a nice advantage of the dunlops is that they're not inside/outside specific, so you can flip the tires on the wheels halfway through their life to get better wear. this is especially nice in a car that may be lacking in camber.

it should be good for a car with a lot of camber too so i don't wear out the insides. not that the tires will have a fighting chance to camber wear out the inside before i put them through some serious track time...

wow that's ugly! i dont know exactly what their molding/layering process is, but that looks like it's a hair away from total catastrophic failure. a delamination/peel could easily take a fender with it on its way off the car!

they might still be at the track, Kumho told them not to bother sending them back, they already know the problem and have enough samples

ran the star specs at the track today... not as sticky as the kumhos but the sidewalls are super stiff on these tires and gives a really good feel to the car. Where the kumho's felt sloppy these are super tight. Put 40 miles on them today at the track and another 25 on the street.
im waiting to hear back from Kumho, we are going to send the tires back, getting another set of tires or my $$$ back will be awesome...

when they're hot... literally. they get hot on the track which causes the air inside to expand, and the pressures to increase significantly. if you want your tires at 37psi on the track, you would start with something like 30psi when your tires are "cold".

i saw my tire temps go up over 10 degrees on wednesday even using nitorogen! It was also like 99 outside...
i miss the xs's grip already... the dunlops make up for it with better and more precise feel though...
