VMR 701's
Where are the 18's that we have been waiting for that was supposed to be out late April early May? Are there more delays or am I waiting for something that will never come about?

Dude, I was waiting for those 18's to come out since June of LAST YEAR, even already had the rear wheels in my possession. I think you are wasting your time. I finally gave up and went with 19's instead.

And the 18x9.5 et50's?
Any chance you guys will be putting thru some better 1 series specs for this wheel, like say an 18x8 et45-48 for the fronts? Personally i just think the 8.5" wide wheel with a 45 offset is too far out, pokes a lil outside the fender and is def noticeable unless your slammed, which in that case ur rubbing like hell.. It doesnt seem like most wheel manufacturers realize how many wheels they would sell if theyd just make a REAL 1 series perfect fitment spec: 18x8 et45 front, 18x9 et48 rear. I know of only 1 or 2 wheels that run that spec, n theyre def not for me |

Ok serious question with these. I am looking at the 18x8.5 et45 fronts and 18x9.5 et50 rear 701's for my 1er. I will be rolling all 4 fenders. Will I be able to fit a 235F-265R tire setup with these then without fender rub? I know I dont need to worry bout rubbing on the inside for these, just wondering really if the i will see any rub on the outside, specially on the rears.
Does anyone have this wheel/tire setup on theirs? Ya and im either goin with the mich. PSS's or the dunlop sport maxx gt's |

Here are some more pics. I have some others which show the wheels better, but file sizes are huge & I don't know how to resize them for the web. Wheels are 18x8.5et45 front and 18x9.5et50 rear.

So are those ur stock 215/245 tires than? Would think theyd be more stretched if that was the case

Correct, stock Bridgestones, 215 & 245. They do look a bit more stretched than I prefer. Bought car used with Winter tires on 264 rims. Previous owner included these with some life left, so I will probably not upgrade until next spring.
