From the Canadian-market perspective, the 135i was always available with the M-Sport package, while the 128i only has a Sport package.
I see the 2009 M-Sport package's availability on the US-market 135i merely bring the car inline with the rest of the North American market (or world)...but there is no M-Sport package on the 128i.
